Remarks | It passed almost directly overhead, and was moving so slowly that I very much mistook it for a plane as it is on an approach of O'Hare airport, except traveling almost due east. Similar magnitude to a plane and never changed brightness much, but unmistakably a meteor, I saw sparks coming off the back. It was traveling about as fast as a plane would be if it were 500 feet overhead and disappeared slightly past overhead. |
