Remarks | I have inadvertently seen a number of shooting stars that appear and quickly burn up and disappear. This one was truly amazing, smoking fast across the sky with a tail at first that diminished as it travelled from the west to east. It disappeared from view behind trees and we all lost sight. Observed by myself, my wife and three kids. |
