Reports Report 2308dd (Event 2308-2014)

Observer
Name Andrew C
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I find it interesting that on 9/24/14 there were 4 sightings in one night over various parts of the US which they said is rare (saw an article about it in the Daily Mail). However, we saw this the preceding night; just wondering if this is part of an event or if more of these will be happening. I will keep my eyes to the sky!

Remarks When we first noticed it, it was streaking quite slow (not as fast as a shooting star) and it almost seemed to slow and when it did several fragments broke away and went different directions (meaning falling away up and down). It continued to streak and then suddenly extinguished. It was a really cool event; we have never seen anything like it in our lives. We were just leaving Red Lobster and walking back to our car and it caught our attention....happened like right in front of us......really cool!
