Remarks | Extremely bright and slow-moving from my perspective, compared with other meteors. It was not far from the direction of the sun, which had just risen. Because of the geometry, I first thought it might have been an Iridium flare, but it was moving too fast for that, and it was clearly much brighter to be visible in daylight. The brightness was varying rapidly, and then it faded out at the end. Really spectacular. |
