Remarks | It was one of the most amazing things I have ever witnessed in the night sky. At first I thought it was an aircraft of some kind, then I thought it was a comet, then I thought it was maybe a rocket. Now I'm just not sure. From first sight to last it lasted, I would say, 3-5min. It started out as a ball of fire near the horizon, then moved upwards and slightly left with a brilliant orange and fiery trail, then continued more horizontally towards the left becoming less brilliant as it went, then the ball itself became smaller and smaller with a faint cone-shaped trail before finally disappearing completely. |
