Remarks | I was in the car with my fiancé on 161 headed east. We were about a half mile from the event. It flashed into view about 1200ft from the ground and stayed lit for about 700ft, then a quick red/orange flash, then no light for about 100-200ft, then lit up again briefly until 100ft from the ground at which point there was no longer light. It came straight down from the sky. If it did impact it is within a 2 mile diameter of 161 and the Beech Road exit, most definately north of 161. |
