I have seen many shooting stars and meteors before but never this large and close up and detailed. It looked like the videos you see on the discovery channel of people who caught them on video but only this one appear as large as the one that hit Cheklabynz in Russia last February 15, 2013 but only Green with Red and Orange and like sparks following behind. I never saw one moving that slow and at such a downward angle. Most zip across the sky fast as small and if you blink you'd miss them but not this. This one was so slow and large and clear I did a triple take. It was literally like watching a signal flare or firework fall but huge.

Remarks
It started out small and bright green and then got larger, brighter and then red and orange with the green as it grew larger before vanishing out of view in the tree line. It was heading more angled down than across. I thought it was going to hit the ocean near by and cause a tsunami. That's how huge it was. It was like a giant falling flare or firework with a sort of tail of sparks behind it. Typical shooting star but much slower and largest I've ever seen. Closest and brightest and most colorful I've ever seen. I called the police and the News to report it. I was so scared I ran next door to tell my sister incase it impacts. Thought there was a slight delayed sound too but the tv was on. I saw it out the picture window of my living room and immediately ran outside to tell my sister who lives next door.
