Remarks | The "fireball" was a bright magnificent green/teal color. It is hard to describe the relative brightness when looking back at it, however it was such a magnitude of brightness that the flash caused me to look at rather than just happening to see it by chance of looking at the sky. Was facing NW driving and cut from W to NW. Was bizarre to me at first as there was no arc, but simply looked as though it did in fact cut through the sky, in and out of the atmosphere. Heard no sound, however I had the radio turned on so that could have cancelled out any noises that may have happened. |
