Reports Report 1546al (Event 1546-2014)

Observer
Name Lee K
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was traveling south on Ohio 41 just entering South Charleston on my way to work. I first saw a reflection in the clouds in front of me similar to a reflection from a lightening flash. I first saw the fireball directly above me when it crossed over my windshield traveling the same direction as I was but crossing slightly to my left. It was approximately the size of the tip of my thumb held at arms length. It was brighter than a full moon but not nearly as bright as the sun. I believe I may have seen a small piece come off just before it disappeared. It appeared to very quickly fade out rather than losing sight of it because of distance.
