I was out trying to take pictures of the moon that night and saw the fireball in my peripherals within the viewfinder. When I looked up it was to the above right of the moon and it crossed basically in front of the moon and down toward the horizon. The fireball was bright and the tail was pretty wide and sparkling. I was too awestruck to take a pic in time
