Remarks I always miss seeing shooting stars, they happen so quickly. This one was amazing because I heard it before I saw it. I heard this whistling whizzing sound, then saw a blinding bright light out of the corner of my left eye, and when I angled myself to figure out what was going on...I was able to watch it and slowly turn my body to follow its trajectory, and had ample time to argue with myself whether or not my camera phone would get a good shot or not (I decided to just watch). I literally felt like I could reach out and touch it, it felt like it was so close, and then when it crossed over my neighbors house behind us, it seemed like it just fizzled into nothing.
