Remarks | I saw a bright green fireball moving very very fast across the sky - from west to east. At first I thought it was a green firework that was coming down. It was sunny out, but the fireball was incredibly bright - stood out against the sky, and it was quite large too - considerably larger and closer than shooting stars I've seen in the past. It went straight to the east very quickly - I watched it cross the sky for felt like 2-3 seconds and then in the far distance it looked like it burned out into smoke - and the smoke looked like it went downward toward the ground. The smoke lingered for a few minutes in a tall vertical looking shape. |
