Reports Report 1048a (Event 1048-2014)

Observer
Name Travis T
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This was a fairly large flame looking crescent at the leading edge of the object. The was perhaps half the diameter of the moon. It also had a tail, but I could see no debris or smoke. I would compare it to the shape of a horseshoe crab. I lost sight of it at the tree line, but I an certain it could have lasted a good deal longer than my brief observation.
