Remarks I am a earth scientist with a degree in chemistry. Largest meteor I have ever seen. It was clearly visible even through the large amount of Atlanta light pollution. Also seen by my wife and daughter in driving the car ahead of me. New Macland road constrains viewing angle due to trees on each side, See Google street view.

Remarks Appeared as low angle of attack, it would flash very bright as it broke up into pieces, pieces would flash as they broke up. Around 5-7 pieces seen.
