Remarks | I've seen a lot of meteor showers. Last night while driving home from California I saw the most spectacular sight. On I-10 driving east (mile marker 44) at 9 p.m. I saw a meteor that seemed to last 30 seconds leave a wide, blue/green neon tail that stretched across the sky. It ended in a red and yellow burst of light that appeared just above the horizon in the direction of Silver City, NM. I'm still in awe! |
