The fireball did have a tail and did not seem to really curve but disappeared totally as it went away. It was totally clear and there was no mistaking it. It was like a comet in my mind. I just happened to see it as I looked up from the church parking lot and all I could do was go oh wait oh wait oh wait and it was gone LOL. It was beautiful. Unfortunately everyone else was getting in or loading their cars and didn't see it.
