Remarks | I had just pulled up to my house and was looking at the moon when I the firey ball. Amazing! Hope it didn't hurt anyone. It was pretty big, definitely on fire. It was not round, more oval, definitely raggedy. It might have gone behind some trees. I'm going to see what's in my line of sight tonight. |

Remarks | If I were to sight through two fingers the bright orange raggedy edged ball of fire was about 1-3/4" with a smokey somewhat firey tail. It looked just like the picture of the one we saw over Russia! I couldn't believe my eyes. The tail was probably 5 times as long as the fireball, whiteish and black, I would guess it was headed over the Black Forest area outside of Colorado, Springs. It was coming down at an angle and then the fire went out. Next time I'll pay more attention to how long the smokey trail lasts instead of running in the house. |
