Remarks The apparent or perceived speed of this object was slow compared to other fireballs I have witnessed. It was distinctly orange in color. The smoke trail persisted until it was too dark to see it.

Remarks smoke trail persisted longer than 12 minutes. I could see the trail deformed by different air speeds in the atmosphere. It was nearly directly overhead.
