Remarks I was looking at the spot in the sky where it suddenly showed up. It seemed to pop into view and not smear over the sky. I could see perspective to a sphere with a "dripping tail, and being an artist could probably draw it. It was far too far away for fireworks to be seen & had none of the physical qualities of fireworks, but seemed heavy & "wet" with a dripping like quality. I watched it for a count of 8 before it went behind the roof of a house. It was a full count to 60 AFTER the 8 that I heard the boom. I stayed outside until my fingers were numb but saw no other activity.

Remarks About a minute after left my field of vision there was a distant boom and slight feeling in ground that caused my dog to pick up his paw, look at the ground, and then look back to the sky. I judged time by a steady 123 counting. We have factories in the area but I've never heard that sound here before. In the past I've felt large explosions, impact booms and I've been though many earthquakes... this felt like an impact boom.
