My wife had never seen a meteor or shooting star before and this will be her second one in a month that she spotted before me! Both times we were driving and saw them through the front windshield so we weren't really star-gazing we just got lucky.

It appeared as two balls of the same size, gapped apart by about half their size following one right behind the other with two or three tiny fragments ahead and slightly below the front or right-most one.
