Remarks as before stated, the large fireball burned out slowly and exploded into another large fireball at least 6 times across the entire northern horizon..the trail remained bright and constant across the horizon when it dimmed out in the west just above the horizon..i immediately notified a friend who is also interested in meteorology,he recited to me the incoming reports that were coming in online and from these reports,at @ 5pm iowa time I determined the path to be along a line from a point btwn cedar rapids and waterloo iowa thru a point btwn ames and ft dodge iowa thru @ sioux city iowa thru @ rapid city SD..and possible ground impact within a triangle btwn sioux city iowa and rapid city SD and scottsbluff nebr...it appears from your report that my description of the event was pretty gosh darn on the money,eh
