The meteor appeared to be headed towards the ground vs across the sky. I was travailing north on the highway and I observed the meteor heading NW. It was heading down at about a 45 degree angle. It gave off three bright flashes. I had a clear view of it and the sky out my front windshield.

White. I'll say white. It was extremely bright and I'm color deficient so it could have been a shade of bright yellow or bright green but to me it just looked bright white.
