Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was 2 miles south of Netawaka Kansas on 75hwy. I just passed what is called the parallel road. I believe it lines up at 38ยบ. The meteor started in the east and continued until it was directly north. Blue green and white in color but looked orangeish when it exploded. Very bright. Bigger than a star in sky... about 1/3 the size of the moon. Larger than any shooting star I've ever seen. I hope this helps you. I was driving home and the sky was clear. I've always loved the stars and I watch the sky. This was a real treat for me.
