Remarks Details of what we saw as taken in notes..... I have a information regarding Tuesday nights meteor in Tucson, or how it is being reported through Arizona Daily Star. The information is incorrect, unless there was more than one meteor that occurred. My husband and I, along with our colleagues, were actually outside in a parking lot leaving work, when my husband noticed the meteor and informed us to look up. The meteor that we saw, was very large, and when first noticed, was blue in color and then lightened up quite a bit before it dicipated. About 3 minutes later, we heard a faint boom. This meteor was traveling from East-Northeast, to West-Southwest, and was directly above our heads. We were in the Rita Ranch area. But from our location and the direction of travel of the meteor, there was no way it started in the Phoenix area, or end up in Marana, which is about 30-45 miles Northwest of our location. If there was any debris left from the meteor we witnessed, and it indeed break up over Tucson, it would have been Western Tucson, over by the reservation, Three Points area, or just East of the Kitt Peak Observatory area, not any where near Northwest Tucson/Marana area. I hope you can find this information useful, like I said, as I read the article, it did not sound accurate, especially located within the Phoenix, Marana, Northwest tucson area. Liana Montgomery
