Remarks | It is difficult to approximate the brightness as the moon was not bright and in a different direction. Looking at a dark part of the sky, this fireball seemed VERY bright. It did not look like your average meteor shower event to me. I have seen hundreds, and this was either much larger than I've see before or much closer. It seemed to be quite local, but who knows? |
