Remarks I don't exactly remember the color. To my son traveling E. toward the downtown of Denver, his first impression was the shine off a jet, but, no…it had a rounder shape and the tail was not a normal contrail. He called us to go outside to watch it, then joined us and we watched it together ( about a span of 6 minutes). Watching its speed was similar to watching the speed of a closer jet. But this seemed very large and further away, going straight across the horizon above the city of Denver, seeming to travel SE. It appeared like Comet ISON on youtube. The tail was single, steadily the same length (not exceedingly long), with a tapered shape. The moon was about 30 degrees further south and maybe 30 degrees higher and more muted, with its diameter appearing to be about the same as the length of the object's tail from my perspective. Heard no percussion sound and it didn't "fall". Then the trees obstructed the view.
