Reports Report 2998d (Event 2998-2013)

Observer
Name Leslie M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was sitting at a stop sign when the fireball appeared in the sky. It didn't move fast like a meteor. It moved more slowly and left a trail behind it. The fireball was a soft reddish orange color but had a soft white-ish tail, and it looked like it left a trail of darkness behind it that blotted out the stars (it was very cold and clear this morning in Alaska w. lots of stars). The tail/trail did not remain after the fireball was no longer visible.
