Reports Report 2894d (Event 2894-2013)

Observer
Name Emmett R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I did not actually see the fireball; I saw it illuminate the area outside my awning-covered bedroom window. Therefore, the directions I gave were the direction I was looking when the illumination occured and should probably be purged from the report. Maybe from the shadows I had the impression that the light came from almost directly overhead. The illumination started up quickly and ended in a flash brighter than the initial observation. Everything darkened quickly after the terminal flash. The gibbous? moon was also illuminating the outside. The meteor illuminated things 3 to 10 times brighter than the moonlight. The light was orange-yellow.
