I was driving along Ashton Blvd when we saw it. The speed and movement of the vehicle may change your trajectory calculations. I would guess that we were going about 30 mph and I slowed when we saw it. It appeared low over the mountains of the Wasatch range to the north and slightly east of my position.

Remarks
It was a large, bright object. At first it was roughly the size and brightness of air traffic, but much faster. It got very big and bright and broke up into a large streak and then smaller streaks.
