Remarks | It was very dark at 6 AM, I saw while driving to work, had to keep my eyes peeled for deer on the side of the road, the fireball was amazing, first time I ever saw one so close, and the sparkler effect was amazing. Not sure if the map got the location right, I was coming down the logtown ridge, between Crystal Blvd and China Hill Rd in El Dorado, CA, and saw the fireball directly in front of my truck, which was pointed toward a cow pasture at the time, before the road began to curve slightly westward, then north again toward the subdivision on the east side of Highway 49, south of China Hill Rd. |
