I live high up on a hill and the sky/moon is VERY bright/clear tonight. I was sitting on my porch WITH the porch lights on. My neighbor to the EAST (where I saw the meteor) had their porch lights on. The meteor was VERY bright that it caught my eye immediately and lasted long enough to watch it. I was on the phone with my husband and described the whole thing to him (unfortunately I did not get any video, but when I watched other's videos I am certain of what I saw.)

glowing train wider at tip and smaller at end (end meaning where it had come from); disappearing out of site. fragments at tip (tip meaning where it was going) broke into fragments maybe about 4-5 that I could see.

I was facing forward so something bright caught my eye. I turned and saw the bright ball with a trail crossing sky horizontally. Then, the ball started to break up and the train stayed for awhile then vanished. The fragmentation was about 3-5 pieces broken off and fell downward.
