From my vantage point in my car at the corner of Del Monte Ave and Camino Aguajito, the small fireball actually had the hill upon which the Presidio of Monterey sits behind it...meaning the fireball was between my location and the hill. I heard no sound from the fireball nor any sirens or other commotion after it fell.
