Once the meteor split into 3 pieces it continued toward the earth and suddenly stopped dropping in a straight line. The lights then started moving in an almost circular motion. I was in my car watching this for a good minute or so when I got to a point where I could no longer see in behind the treelike I came up to.
At this point I assumed that maybe there was a group of sky divers dropping from a plane for the Friday nite Nationally televised UC game. So I asked some friends if that happened at the game and nobody knew. That is the only thing I can think of that would make this type of motion in the sky.
