Remarks | I was standing in my yard gazing at Cassiopeia when it appeared nearly directly overhead. It was very bright and to me seemed to have a bright yellowish hue, almost like what a firework sparkler emits. From my perspective it appeared to be heading in a roughly south-north direction across the sky. It had a long trail behind it and after what seemed like 2, perhaps 3, seconds it was gone. |
