Reports Report 1895a (Event 1895-2024)

Observer
Name Laurie N
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was not dark yet and the sky lite up slightly as a dark pink reddish color to my left ( I was facing NE) I turned to see the sky light up a dark pink , then red , then green. It wasn’t tiny or super quick but I feel like it was a fireball. At first I thought a plane or helicopter was flying low but it dropped so suddenly and changed colors quickly . So beautiful, I’m blessed to see it ! It was approximately 20 minutes after we experienced a quick but impressive wind , storm with a huge down drafting , lateral 50 mph gust.
