I think it is very very strange this Fireball was extremely bright red but it didn't seem to be heading downward it looked like, and I think a closer examination of the not so great video I have, would confirm it was heading upward from my perspective. But I was looking in the direction of Death Valley which is only a 20 to 30 minute drive from my home. I couldn't believe my eyes and thought I was seeing a launch of some type of a rocket? Maybe that's what this was but from Death Valley? The video I have does not show the bright red flaming Tail whatever this is had, I even tried zooming in but it disappeared shortly after I started recording all that shows in the video is what looks like a star in the distance that quickly Fades to nothing...... I'll be perfectly honest my very first impression upon walking out of my back door and seeing this thing was what the hell! Are they launching ballistic missiles across the Pacific Ocean towards America? But it quickly faded I heard absolutely nothing and after it disappeared wondered if I saw a UFO LOL |
