Remarks | From everything I know, this was after the nights that were supposed to be the best for seeing that particular meteor shower, but… I feel very lucky to have looked up when I did, and been able to catch this gorgeous event. I had been struggling with something in my personal life recently, and seeing this reminded me of the beauty of the universe - which is why I pulled over and documented it as well as I could that night because it felt deeply important to me. |

Color | Its center was white hot, likely with heat, but on the outer edges of its tail in particular I could see a deep, rich purple – tinged with a darker, almost rusty orange, where it sliced through the sky. |
