Remarks | At first I thought it was a helicopter, flying in for a landing. (The lights I saw didn't look like an airplane or jet.) But as I was following its trajectory, it just winked out suddenly after being very bright, and well before it would have landed. (At the point it winked out, it was about 30 degrees up.) At this point I didn't think it was a helicopter. I watched the local 10 p.m. news to see if anything like an unusual aircraft was reported, but nothing was mentioned. I'm not used to seeing green fireballs (the ones I have seen before have been yellow/cream color) but I have ruled out other options to the best of my ability. |
