| Remarks | The sudden bright light appeared right next to a streetlamp, in a part of the sky that normally seems dark (can't see stars, planes, etc). My first impression was "Hey, there's a firework... But why would there be fireworks now?" And it was a single streak of light, but faster and brighter than a plane. Then I remembered seeing a widely reported fireball last year and began checking the news and your site. I found one other report from about the same time and a nearby town, so at the least I think I must have seen the same thing as that other person. |

| Remarks | It arrived in my field of vision very bright, then rapidly dimmed out with perhaps some flickers trailing. Like a single firework (or flare?) burning out. |
