Remarks | I am a police officer and I was working when this event occurred. I can send four more photos taken from Metric Blvd and Centimeter Circle in Austin TX. From this viewpoint, the object came from high in the ESE sky, heading WNW, and appeared to end near Metric Blvd. I wish I knew about this website back then. I prefer not to have my name released. |

Remarks | The smoke trail continued to the point I considered the object hit the ground. I have multiple photos of the trail at different angles. The last photo the trail appeared only a few hundred feet off the ground. Low enough to light it up with the spotlight on my patrol car. |
