Reports Report 1881aa (Event 1881-2013)

Observer
Name Rachel Giada C
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was turned slightly away from the bolide as I was speaking to a fellow observer. I saw just a fraction of it as it passed over my shoulder. What was astounding was the brightness. It momentarily lit up the observing field and my scope I could see as if it were daylight out. It passed through some trees so we could not see a smoke trail but it certainly had a tail. Did not hear a sound though as low as it was we were surprised not to!
