Remarks | I'm a pretty regular astro-photographer and have seen a decent amount of bright/fireball class meteors over the years. This one had good potential for a nice show, but a weather front was coming in and it still had the intensity to show through the existing cloud cover. It had a thin appearance (probably clouds) which made me think iridium flair at first, but the green to blue color, speed, and the quick sudden ending said meteor to me. I was at work and I happen to be at the right place at the right time and looking in the right direction-lucky me. Thanks for hosting this site interesting (and fun) to read. Marc |
