Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | As it was coming down from left to right, what looked like a small shooting star started to grow in size. As it grew, it lit up and then smaller fragments started to fall off of the main fire ball. The fire ball at its larges looked about the size of my pinky nail at arms distance. This process took about 10 seconds. Immediately after seeing it at its largest, it disappeared from my sight. |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | As it was coming down from left to right, what looked like a small shooting star started to grow in size. As it grew, it lit up and then smaller fragments started to fall off of the main fire ball. The fragmented parts were tiny (about the appearance of a small shooting star) and came off like they were burning off of a larger chunk of the fireball. They came off in all directions, but mostly above and below the fireball. The fire ball at its larges looked about the size of my pinky nail at arms distance. This process took about 10 seconds. Immediately after seeing it at its largest, it disappeared from my sight. |
