Reports Report 1438cb (Event 1438-2013)

Observer
Name NancyJackOlivia O
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I had seen brief, flitting meteors in my peripheral vision (to the west) earlier in the evening and had pointed them out to my son. This fireball occurred directly in front of us to the left, and approximately at the midpoint of the drive-in screen. While it was not completely perpendicular to the earth, it was at a much steeper angle than any other meteor I have seen during any other meteor showers. It caused everyone near us to gasp and talk about it.
