Remarks | I looked to the south and saw a bright white light coming towards me through the trees. I thought it was a helicopter search light but it grew bigger as it drew nearer and there was no sound. It had a slight arc and the brightness turned to a white blue with chunks of roundish debris falling off of it (only 3 or 4 pieces). And as I watched it go over the houses it fizzled out, faded immediately and a darkened serrated hunk of debris dropped straight down, but it was darkened shadowy like not really glowing purple but a purplish hue and then the debris dropped straight down out of sight |

Remarks | Roundish chunks of debris falling off before it fizzled out. The only time I saw the debris was when it was right in front of me, then it faded quickly and I saw a darkened form just drop to the earth |
