Reports Report 1227a (Event 1227-2013)

Observer
Name Maggie W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This is the second object that I have witnessed such objects at that time of morning. Both were descending toward the horizon. However, the first sighting was several weeks ago, toward the Northeast. We are surrounded by chemical and paper plants. The lights and burn off from the plants illuminate the horizons. Both objects were clearly visible though the first was in the direction of one of the plants. That object was much brighter in the sky than the light from the plant. Both objects glowed bright white like an enormous bright light in the sky then as they descended they faded. Both descended at a much slower rate than I have seen with meteor showers in the past. My only recollection of seeing moment that slow was Halley's. Both nights the moon was visible, again adding more illumination to the night sky which normally would have prevented or greatly limited my ability to see a meteor shower.
