Reports Report 1179c (Event 1179-2013)

Observer
Name David R
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks Luckily I was headed north on Kenney Rd. a couple hundred yards south of Rt. 54 and Kenney, IL. I was looking strait ahead and the meteor appeared moving north -- directly in front of the windshied--as it passed me lighting the sky in sort of a big blue ball. A couple seconds go by and the meteor appears to burn out somewhere in the distance. I was very lucky to be driving in the path of the meteor; it was bright and I really enjoyed seeing the meteor fly by.
