This is my second time seeing a fireball meteor & both were in this direction, driving due east in the california valley. The last one was in November & I forgot to make a report. This one was similar to the other in height & closeness tho the previous appeared closer to me. Tonights seemed to fall near the foothills east of stockton.
It was spectacular & a thrilling surprise while i admired the beatiful hazy yellow moon on my way home.

It was a bright flash before it disappeared like a flare or firework as its climbing before it explodes to make showers/shimmers.
