Remarks | The "meteor" was intensely bright, with a trail approximately 100x longer than wide. It was moving at a fairly slow, but steady rate due east of my position - as though it was at very high altitude. It took approximately 30-60 seconds (?) to move from a 45 degree angle in the sky to below the line of sight. |
