Remarks | It first drew my attention as I was looking down adjusting my camera trying to photograph comet PanSTARRS, and I sensed a bright light overheard. I looked up and at first it looked very much litke a bottle rocket (we have many illegal fireworks in this neighborhood) but when it passed behind an overhead cloud, I knew it was a fireball. Unfortunately my camera was pointed at 290 degrees west and 10 degrees elevation while the fireball passed nearly overhead. |
